Howard Gutman is the President and Chief Executive Officer of The Lutgert Companies, a leading real estate development firm based in Naples, Florida. A graduate of the University of Florida, Howard began his career with The Lutgert Companies in 1978 and has been at the helm as president and CEO since 2000. Under his leadership, the company has solidified its reputation for excellence, innovation, and community impact.

Howard’s influence extends beyond the corporate world. He serves on the real estate advisory boards at both the University of Florida and Florida Gulf Coast University, lending his expertise to shape the future of the industry. A passionate advocate for education, Howard is a founding board member of the Collier County Education Foundation (Champions For Learning) and a supporter of Winged Foot Scholarship Foundation.

Recognized as one of Naples Illustrated’s Top 100 Most Influential Business Leaders in Collier County, Howard is celebrated for his vision, integrity, and enduring contributions to the community. He credits his greatest inspiration to his father, who, despite not completing high school, worked tirelessly to ensure his children could attend college.
