Scott Lutgert

Scott Lutgert has been a driving force in Southwest Florida’s real estate landscape since 1970. As Chairman of The Lutgert Companies, he has led the development of numerous landmark properties, including 17 luxury beachfront high-rises in Park Shore, six high-rises in Bonita Bay, and two premier golf communities: The Estuary at Grey Oaks in Naples and Linville Ridge in North Carolina.

His leadership has extended to commercial and mixed-use developments, such as The Village on Venetian Bay, The Promenade at Bonita Bay, Northern Trust Office Building, and Mercato in North Naples. Under his direction, The Lutgert Companies has grown to include Premier Sotheby’s International Realty, Premier Commercial, Lutgert Construction, Lutgert Title, and formerly Lutgert Insurance, which was sold in 2017.

A graduate of Stanford University with an MBA from the University of Chicago, Scott is deeply committed to education and healthcare. He served 12 years as Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Florida Gulf Coast University and has been involved with Naples Community Hospital since 2001, currently serving as Chair of its Board of Directors.

Scott is also known for his philanthropic efforts. He co-founded the Naples Winter Wine Festival, benefiting the Naples Children and Education Foundation, and has held leadership roles in numerous charitable initiatives, including campaigns for The Shelter for Abused Women and Children and the Golisano Children’s Museum of Naples.

His contributions have earned him multiple honors, including the Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida Business Leadership Hall of Fame Award, Gulfshore Life’s Man of the Year (2004), and the Edison College Holland T. Salley Leadership in Fostering Education Award.
